  • We freelance out of our preferred studios in Santa Monica, Melrose, and Burbank (Los Angeles). When booking a session, please specify a location you wish to record in and we will give you the information for recording studio in that area.

    We freelance out of different Studios, so if you book a Recording Session, we have to verify availability of the selected date and time with the Recording Studio first. If your requested date and time matches their availability, we will charge your card on file for the 50% deposit of the session per our Terms of Service. ONLY THEN will your appointment be officially set and in the books! If your selected date and time does not align with the Studio’s availability, your appointment will be canceled and you can select a different date and time. We may reach out to you to provide other availability options.

    If you booked a Mix Service Package your appointment will most likely be officially in the calendar and set from the start. We do reserve the right to cancel/reschedule as well for various reasons, such as overbooking. Sometimes clients have issues with providing the proper files, for example, and will cause a delay from us being able to work on their project and delay the next available opening for accepting new Mixes.

    We strive to have open communication for any cancelations/reschedules.

  • We require at least a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    Cancelations less than 48 hours prior will result in a charge of the full time booked or forfeit of deposit. You will not be refunded for the booking payment even for cancelations before the 48 hour deadline. Instead, the booking payment will remain as a credit on file for up to a year.

  • EngineEars is a platform made for Artists and Engineers, BY Artists and Engineers. Essentially, it’s a marketplace where Artists can book professional, hand selected Engineers for services. Everything is handled via the platform from start to finish. From booking, uploading project files, messaging and communication, project status updates, mix/master service previews, payment and more, doing business has never been easier! Fully transparent every step of the way!

  • If you book via the EngineEars platform, you select the due date and it automatically calculates the cost based on availability. For booking directly expected turnaround is 1.5 - 2 weeks, possibly sooner. Express turnaround is also an option. Please reach out for quote.

  • Express turnaround is an option for an additional charge. If you need a faster turnaround time, please ask for a quote. Depending on the desired date, the new rate would be an extra percentage of the original rate. (i.e 125%, 150%, etc.)

  • .wav files are preferred. Stems/multitracks labeled by name (i.e Vocals, Drums, Keys, Kick, Snare, Background Vocal, etc). Please also make note of the project Key and Project Tempo on the folder containing the files.
